Mr. Middleton’s Class Newsletter Term 6
We would like to welcome you back after what I hope was a relaxing and refreshing half term break. I trust you had a lovely, calm and restful break and that your child is ready to continue to learn!
This is the final term of a lovely year! I can't believe how quickly this year has gone, we've done so much and we've all grown. I was speaking to one of my class about his favourite trip and I realised that we've had a really great collection of different learning experiences.
Our theme for this term is Mexico, so we'll be looking at the geography, the people and customs of this country. In DT we'll make different Mexican food.
In RE we will be looking at Christian charities, we'll look at the work of different ones then choose one to raise money for.
In ICT we'll look at a range of topics including programming, information gathering and internet safety.
In science the class will be learning all about rocks and soils.
PE will be on a Wednesday morning and a Tuesday afternoon. Please make sure your child has the appropriate PE kit. Please note that no earrings can be worn during PE lessons.
The rest of this news letter tells you important dates that you will want to know!
As I always mention, please don't be a stranger! I love to talk to parents and as a dad myself, I know how reassuring it is to know that I can speak to my child's teacher if I need to. Please just find me after school or contact the office.
