If your child needs medication whilst at school, including an asthma inhaler, please follow the steps below:

• Medication must be handed directly to the school office by an adult.
• The medication will still need to be in the original packaging with the prescription label (if necessary), dosage and instructions.
• You will need to complete a medication form so that staff know the time and the dose to give.
• In the case of long-term regular prescription medication, such as an inhaler, we will contact you when we are running out of medication so you can supply more.

CHILDREN SHOULD NOT BRING IN MEDICATION TO SCHOOL, OR KEEP MEDICATION IN THEIR SCHOOL BAG.
