Uniform
We expect all children at St Mary’s to wear school uniform, this gives the children a sense of belonging and pride in their school. Our uniform has been carefully considered so that all children can feel comfortable whilst learning. School uniform with the logo is not essential.
It is really helpful if school uniform is clearly labelled with your child's name, in case it gets misplaced.

Children can also wear blue gingham summer dresses in the hotter months.
PE Kit:
Please make sure that your child attends school in P.E. kit on the day of their lesson.

Uniform and branded school bags can be ordered online from KS Schoolwear. Just click on the image below to go to their website:
Second-hand uniform sales are held approximately once a term in the school playground. If you would like to purchase second-hand uniform outside of these, please contact the school office.
Jewellery and Presentation
We do not allow children to wear jewellery on health and safety grounds.
However, there are some exceptions (children must be able to remove these items on their own for PE lessons):
- Children can wear single stud earrings
- Small objects of religious significance, such as a crucifix or Sikh Kara.
- Children may wear a watch, as long as it does not have the ability to take photos or record video.
Hairstyles and colour should be sensible and appropriate for school. Long hair should be tied up away from the face. Children cannot wear make-up or nail varnish.
If you would like any further information or assistance with purchasing school uniform, or it is something you are worried about, please contact our friendly office team, who can offer our advice and help.
